I grew up as a farm girl. While my dad worked the fields and
raised cattle and horses, my mother's joy was breeding quality
dogs. With 200 + dogs to keep groomed it was no wonder my
sister and I learned a profession that would follow us into our
adult lives. Mother always said "Someday you may want your
own grooming salon". She was right. By attending seminars to
keep up on the latest techniques, not only am I delivering quality
grooming, I am also keeping my mother's legacy--personal
service and the philosophy of treating each animal as if were my
own.

I previously owned a grooming salon in Lockridge, Iowa for 20
years before moving to North Liberty. Since opening the Yuppy
Puppy Salon out of my home in 2003, we have opened a second
salon and hired two groomers to help deliver and maintain the
high quality service the Yuppy Puppy Salon has become known
for.

My husband Gary, and I live in North Liberty, Iowa with
two dogs, Sophie and Macy. We have three married
sons and wonderful daughter-in-laws and precious
grandchildren.
